July 24, 2025 – North Central College women's basketball head coach Maggie McCloskey-Bax has announced the hiring of Taylor Harazin as the Cardinals' new assistant coach for the 2025-26 season. Harazin joins North Central after a season as an assistant at Benedictine University.

"We are excited to welcome Taylor to the North Central community," said McCloskey-Bax, who is entering her eighth season at the helm for the Cardinals. "She brings an infectious energy to the program and will do a great job connecting with both players and recruits. Her experience competing in the CCIW, along with her coaching experience, will be a tremendous asset to our team."

Harazin spent last season coaching at Benedictine, working primarily with post players and managing the team's administrative tasks, including travel and meals. Additionally, Harazin's coaching experience includes working with the M14 Hoops Training Academy and serving as an AAU travel basketball coach.

A former College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin women's basketball student-athlete at Elmhurst University, Harazin was a two-time All-CCIW player and a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree, averaging 15.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in her final season.

Harazin received her bachelor's degree in sports management and communication in 2021 from Elmhurst before returning as an intern with the women's basketball team. She received her Master's of Business Administration from Elmhurst in 2023.
