KENOSHA, Wis. (Sept. 27, 2025) -Â The North Central College men's cross country team posted a fourth-place team finish with an all-freshman squad at the Lucian Rosa Invitational in Kenosha, Wis. Saturday, Sept. 27.
Daniel Kasperan notched a runner-up finish to lead the Cardinals.
North Central totaled 104 points for fourth with Alabama Huntsville leading the way with a 27 point team win. Cedarville was second with 62 points and Wayne State (Mich.) finished third with 90 points.Â
Kasperan put an eight second gap between himself and the third place finisher, as the freshman finished in a personal-best time of 27:04.06. Jack Ryan was the next Cardinal across the finish line, finishing in sixth-place in 27:29.77. Jackson Carius turned in a 29th-place finish in 28:30.6 with Matthew McKee and David Hornaday closing out North Central's top-five in 36th (28:47.1) and 43rd (29:03.4), respectively.Â
The Cardinals head to the University of Louisville's Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic next Saturday, Oct. 4. Race time is set for 9 a.m. at E.P. Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.Â
