ELMHURST, Ill. (Jan. 25, 2026) - For the fourth consecutive year, the North Central College women's wrestling team has claimed the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships title after producing six individual champions and 13 All-CCIW honorees on Sunday, Jan. 25.

North Central won its fourth conference title with 179 points, nearly 40 points ahead of runner-up Aurora College (140). Augustana College placed third as a team with 106.5 points while meet host, Elmhurst University, was fourth with 78.5 points. Carthage College compiled 68.5 points for fifth while Illinois Wesleyan University took sixth (66) and Milwaukee School of Engineering was seventh (10).

Additionally, the Cardinals reeled in three of the four major awards. North Central was awarded the CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year while Jael Miller was voted the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year. Taylor Meiss was named the CCIW Elite 26 Award winner, awarded to the student-athlete with the highest grade-point average competing at the conference championships. Mikayla Garcia was named North Central's CCIW RESPECT Award recipient.

In the 110 weight class, Eliana Paramo locked up Jo Orozco's (Augustana) leg and scored the takedown before tacking on the final points to secure a 10-0 technical fall in her first bout of the day. She picked up the pin against Sharon Moreno (Aurora) before taking down Carthage's Karina Torres in an 11-0 technical fall. Paramo locked in her 4-0 day with a 2-0 decision win over Katelyn Bell (Aurora) to win the weight class and All-CCIW honors.

Bella Bolek (117) defeated Rebecca Di Silverstro of Carthage by way of a pin at the 1:09 mark in the quarterfinal to start the day. She faced a tougher feat in the semifinal in Hannah Suboni-Kaufman (Augustana) but managed to secure the 8-2 decision to earn a spot in the finals. A dominant performance in the first-place match saw Bolek claim the 117 pound CCIW title with a 16-6 technical fall win.

In the 145 pound weight class, Natalie Klavetter's day opened with a bye in the quarterfinal round before meeting Gia Ritter (Augustana) in the semifinal. Klavetter claimed a 11-0 technical fall win over Ritter and followed it up with a quick pin (1:43) over Jillian Giller in the first-place match to claim the 145-pound CCIW individual title.

North Central had two wrestlers competing in the 160 weight class who went on to battle each other in the first-place match. Sydney Perry made it to the final by way of two technical fall wins while Taylor Graveman received a bye in the quarterfinal as the higher seed. Graveman used a 10-0 technical fall over Josie Hosea (Carthage) to meet Perry in the final. Graveman ultimately claimed the individual title at 160 pounds by way of a 10-10 decision win on criteria as Perry received All-CCIW honors as the runner-up.

In the 180 weight class, Jael Miller received a quarterfinal bye before defeating Maryam Ndiaye (Augustana) by way of a 17-6 technical fall in the semifinal. She went on to notch her second tech fall of the day in the final, this time a 10-0 showing, to claim the first CCIW title of her career.

Rounding out the Cardinals individual champions was Tirza TwoTeeth at 207 pounds. After an opening round bye, TwoTeeth met Illinois Wesleyan's Angel Hill in the semifinal. The two have met twice before this season with each claiming a win, but it was TwoTeeth who notched the win by pin (4:08). In the final, TwoTeeth picked up a 10-0 technical fall win over Alivia Davey (Illinois Wesleyan) for her first CCIW title.

Zurri Zamora kicked off her day at 103 pounds with a 10-0 technical fall over Crystal Gutierrez (Carthage) in the quarterfinal. She replicated that effort in the semifinal, notching the tech fall over Mia Vazquez (Augustana) to solidify her spot in the first-place match but ultimately finished second to sixth-ranked Genesis Ramirez (Aurora) in a narrow 5-2 decision. It marks the first All-CCIW performance of Zamora's career.

In the 131 weight class, Jax Realin turned in a second-place All-CCIW performance after a 3-1 day. After a first round bye, Realin picked up a pair of pins around the two minute mark (2:00, 2:02) in the quarter- and semifinal matches to claim a spot in the final. Her only loss of the day came at the hands of No. 4 ranked Alexis Janiak (Aurora) in a technical fall.

At 138 pounds, Taylor Miess made quick work of her opening bout, needing just 12 seconds to pin Naomi Castillo-Posadas (MSOE). She then went on to defeat No. 8 Sophia Ball (Aurora) in the semifinal via a 6-2 decision but fell to Aine Moffit (Augustana) in a 7-2 decision in the first-place match. Miess earns the first All-CCIW honor of her career with a second-place finish.

Also earning All-CCIW honors with third-place finishes was Justine Perez (103), Nadia Thomas (117), and Gracie Guarino (124).

North Central will host No. 8 Wartburg College on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. for the Cardinals' Senior Day.
