MANHEIM, Pa. (Feb. 6, 2026)- After concluding the 2025-26 regular season with an undefeated College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) record and a fifth straight CCIW Regular Season Championship, the North Central College men's wrestling team finds themselves maintaining the sixth spot in the latest National Wrestling Coaches' Association (NWCA) poll. The Cardinals also have three wrestlers ranked in their respective weight classes in the poll that was released Friday morning.

The top two of the NWCA National Team Poll went unchanged from the last poll, as Wartburg College headlines the top with 71 points, followed by Roanoke College in second place with 55.5 points. The College of New Jersey jumped from five to three with 46.5 points, and rounding out the top five are Augsburg University (42) and the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse (38.5).

Chip Guzman retains the top spot of the 125-pound weight class, as he has all season long. Guzman holds an undefeated 27-0 record, with 20 wins coming by technical fall. His most recent action came in the dual against the University of Chicago, where he faced No. 14-ranked Jackson Rustad in the 133-pound bout and won via technical fall.

Ethan Spacht maintains possession of the No. 1 spot in the 133-pound division, boasting a 28-1 record this season. Of his 28 wins, Spacht has won 14 by pinfall and five more by technical fall. Spacht picked up a pinfall in the dual against Aurora University on Thursday, Feb. 5, to help North Central claim a fifth straight CCIW Regular Season Championship in a 45-3 victory over the Spartans.

Joshua Robison holds onto the sixth spot in the 141-pound poll with a 12-3 record this season. Robison's most recent action came on Feb. 5 against Aurora, after nearly a month without action. Robison defeated Aurora's Jake Penzato by a 16-2 major decision, chipping in on the victory over the Spartans.

North Central returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 14, for the CCIW Championship hosted by Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., inside Tarble Arena at 11 a.m.
