North Central College Cardinals

Chris Wheaton '84 has served as an assistant coach with the men's cross country and track and field programs since the 2009-2010 academic year.

Wheaton, who had previously coached at Batavia High School, assists with the coaching of the Cardinals' varsity squad during the cross country season.

During the track and field season, Wheaton assists in the coaching of athletes in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The Cardinals' Ryan Root '15 earned All-America honors by placing fifth in the steeplechase in the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.
