Kyle Brady '10 began serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the distance runners in the North Central College men's cross country and track and field programs during the 2010-2011 academic year.
As an athlete, Brady was a seven-time NCAA Division III All-American (one in cross country, two in indoor track and field, four in outdoor track and field) for the Cardinals. During the 2009-2010 academic year, Brady helped lead North Central to team national championships in all three venues, marking just the second time in Division III history that a program had done so in the same academic year. Brady was an individual national champion indoors in the 5,000-meter run and outdoors in the 10,000-meter run and was the only North Central athlete to compete in all three national-championship meets.
A native of Wheaton, Ill., Brady graduated from North Central in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in physical education.
