Reese Kocanda joined the North Central College men's track & field coaching staff in August of 2023 as a graduate assistant coach.
Kocanda comes from Lewis University in Romeo following a five-year track & field career with the Flyers while being named team captain. On the coaching side, he has worked as a private strength training coach, the head sprint coach for the Chicago Flyer's Youth Track Club, and as an assistant sports performance coach for Rhino Baseball Academy. Kocanda holds a USA Track & Field Level I coaching certification.
Kocanda graduated in May of 2023 from Lewis with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science.
