Ben Jung joined the North Central College women's track & field coaching staff in August of 2023 as a graduate assistant coach.
Jung was a two-sport athlete at Benedictine University and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He was a two-time All-American in the 4x100 relay and the 200-meter dash while winning the 100-meter dash in the WIAC Indoor Championships. Jung was named a baseball team captain for the 2022 season. He also volunteered with the UW-Oshkosh track & field/baseball youth camps. In the fall of 2022, Jung student taught biology at Oshkosh North High School.
A native of Downer's Grove, Jung graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a bachelor of science in education in 2022. He is pursuing a master's degree from North Central.
