Tori Capozziello '17 joined the North Central College staff prior to the 2017-2018 academic year as a graduate assistant coach for the Cardinals' women's cross country and track and field programs.
Capozziello competed in middle distance events and in cross country for North Central from 2013-2017. She was a three-time College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) indoor champion in track and field, running on two winning distance medley relay teams (2016 and 2017) and placing first in the mile run in 2017. She also established a new North Central indoor record for the 600-meter run (1:40.16) in 2016.
She was a Second Team All-CCIW selection in cross country in 2016, when she was also named one of North Central's two CCIW Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference honorees for the fall season.
A native of Schaumburg, Illinois, Capozziello graduated in June with a bachelor's degree in organizational communication and is pursuing a master's degree in nonprofit management/leadership.
