ORLANDO, Fla. (Mar. 22, 2011)-- The North Central College men's tennis squad closed out its spring break trip on Tuesday with a pair of dual match defeats, suffering a 6-3 setback to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh before falling 9-0 to Calvin College.

Against the UW-Oshkosh (9-7), the Titans swept all three doubles matches in what turned out to be the deciding factor as the Cardinals (3-4) claimed three of six singles contests.

Matt Boguslawski continued to roll, posting a, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 1 singles against Nate Kilsdonk while Chris Bennorth rallied to defeat Dustin Blackburn, 1-6, 6-3, 10-4, at No. 2. Josh Clay picked up the Cardinals' third victory of the match, breezing by Josh Hopfensperger, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 5.

Against Calvin (3-2), Boguslawski and Clay both saw their four-game winning streaks come to a close in singles play. Boguslawski suffered a, 6-3, 6-0, setback to the Knights' No. 1 man Roland Eldridge while Clay lost, 6-1, 6-2, to Jarrod Brower in No. 5 action.

North Central returns to the courts on Friday, April 1, traveling to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for a non-conference dual match.
