Apr. 12, 2012-- The North Central College men's tennis squad snapped its seven-match skid on Thursday afternoon at the NCC Tennis Courts, shutting out non-conference foe Concordia University Chicago, 9-0.

In doubles, Will Exner and Boris Kampel took down the Cougars' (1-4) No. 1 tandem of Alex Tarullo and Vince Termini, 8-1, while Mason Sass and Andrew McKinley prevailed 8-2 at No. 2. Rustam Saini and Eric McKee secured the Cardinals' (3-7) sweep, picking up the 8-2 decision.

In singles, Exner downed Tarullo, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 1 while McKee captured the, 6-2, 6-2, victory at No. 2. Boris Kampel defeated Termini, 6-1, 6-1 while Adam Ciccone, Sass and McKinley all earned victories by a, 6-0, 6-1, tally.

North Central returns to action on Saturday, taking on Augustana College at 9 a.m. before taking on Cornell College (Iowa) at 1 p.m. in Rock Island, Ill.
