Oct. 19, 2013 – The North Central College women's soccer team was undone at the hands of College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) foe Augustana College, 5-0 Saturday afternoon inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

The Vikings (10-2-1, 2-1-1 CCIW) took an early 2-0 lead in the opening period, backed by a pair of goals by Jessa Rizzo in the 18^th and 40^th minute, respectively.

The second half was more of the same from the Vikings, as Kelly Farell increased the Augustana lead 3-0, connecting on a break away goal in the 64^th minute.

Augustana received insurance goals from Hannah Lohmeier and Taylor Navarro in the 71^st and 81^st minute, respectively.

Nicki Seiton saved nine shots on the afternoon in the losing effort for the Cardinals (2-10-1, 1-4-0 CCIW). Augie goalkeeper Meredith Chew stopped six shots, improving to 9-2-3 on the season.

North Central returns to action Oct. 26, taking on North Park University in Chicago, Ill. at 4:30 pm.
