Feb. 27, 2013 – North Central College's Josh Rodig has been selected as College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Tennis Player of the Week Wednesday.

Rodig went 3-1 over the weekend as the Cardinals (2-3) split a pair of dual matches inside the Res/Rec Center, falling to Webster University, 8-1 before responding with a 7-2 victory over Dominican University in the nightcap.

At No. 3 singles, Rodig was defeated by Webster's Agustin Villalba, 6-0, 6-3 before bouncing back to defeat Dominican's Alex Dee in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.

In doubles play, the duo of Rodig and Jesse Adamson was perfect on the weekend downing Webster's Ricky Eaves and Travis Blair, as well as Dominican's Adrian Chavez and Alex Dee by identical 8-5 sets.

North Central returns to the court Mar. 10, travelling to Aurora University.  Matches are slated to begin at Washington Park at 12 p.m.
