KENOSHA, Wis. (Apr. 22, 2013) – The North Central College men's tennis team was unable to sneak past Carthage College in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) dual match, Monday afternoon at the Smeds Tennis Center.
The Red Men (9-8, 2-2 CCIW) claimed five of the six singles matches as the Cardinals (3-13, 0-4 CCIW) lone victory came in the No. 4 spot as
Mason Sass defeated Juan Robles in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
In doubles play, the combination of
Rustam Saini and
Josh Rodig downed Conor Moon and Brandon Curtis, 8-3, at the No. 2 position.
North Central closes out the regular season May 1, hosting Illinois Wesleyan University at 4 p.m. at the NCC Tennis Courts.
