ELMHURST, Ill. (Apr. 3, 2013) – The North Central College tennis team was outdone at the hands of College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin foe Elmhurst College, 9-0 Wednesday afternoon in the conference opener at the Brune Tennis Courts.
 
The Bluejays (7-7) jumped out to an early 6-0 lead sweeping all six singles matches on the afternoon.
 
In doubles play, Adam Ciccone and Travis Kaszynski were downed by Alex Harbert and Will Jung, 8-1 at the No. 1 position.  At No. 2, Josh Rodig and Rustam Saini were defeated by Luke Tanaka and Chris Harrison, 8-6 before Mason Sass and Jesse Adamson lost a tough 9-8 decision to Vincent McPherson and Quinn Jennings at No. 3.
 
North Central is back in action on Friday, Apr. 5, hosting Augustana College in a CCIW dual at 4 p.m.
