Apr. 5, 2013 – The North Central College men's tennis team was unable to find the win column Friday afternoon against Augustana College in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) dual at the NCC Tennis Courts.
 
The Vikings (11-6, 1-0 CCIW) jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead, sweeping all six singles matches.  Rustam Saini played Augustana's Andy Wall to a three-set game but eventually fell 5-7, 6-3, 7-10.
 
In doubles play, the Vikings took all three matches from the Cardinals (3-11, 0-2 CCIW) as Mason Sass and Jesse Adamson lost a hard fought battle at No. 3, 8-6 to the Vikings' Will Palmer and Kevin Bayles.
 
North Central is back on the court Thursday, Apr. 11, traveling to Wheaton College for a CCIW dual beginning at 3:30 p.m.
