Apr. 9, 2013 - North Central College women's track and field athlete Jocelyn Redlinski has been recognized as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Field Event Athlete of the Week for Apr. 1-7.

Redlinski was recognized for her efforts in the Chicagoland Outdoor Championships at Lewis University this past weekend. She turned in a personal-best point total of 4,193 points in the heptathlon, placing second in the meet and finishing just 22 points short of the North Central varsity record. Redlinski also won the 100-meter hurdles in a wind-aided time of 14.71 seconds.

Redlinski currently ranks first in the CCIW and 10th in the nation in the heptathlon while also leading the CCIW in the 100-meter hurdles. She qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in the pentathlon in March.
