May 1, 2013 – Closing out the 2012-13 regular season, the North Central College men's tennis team was defeated in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) dual match at the NCC Tennis Courts at the hands of Illinois Wesleyan University.
 
In singles play, the Titans (6-11, 1-4 CCIW) took an early 4-2 lead as the Cardinals (3-14, 0-5 CCIW) received victories from Mason Sass at the No. 4 position and Jesse Adamson at No. 5.
 
In doubles play, North Central was defeated in the first two matches before Sass and Adamson teamed up to defeat Genyl Rufino and Ashwin Radhakrishnan, 8-3.
 
North Central travels to Bloomington, Ill., May 3-4 for the 2013 CCIW Tournament.
