WHEATON, Ill. (Sept. 24, 2013) – The North Central College women's tennis squad was downed at the hands of Wheaton College in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) dual match, Tuesday night at the Wheaton Tennis Courts.
 
The Thunder (5-2, 3-1 CCIW) claimed all six singles matches on the afternoon, Jenny Velasquez put up a fight at the No. 5 position but was defeated by Katherine Kaiser, 6-4, 7-5.
 
In doubles play, the Cardinals (5-3, 1-2 CCIW) were undone in the three matches.
 
North Central travels to Elmhurst College for a CCIW dual Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 3:30 pm.
