Sept. 28, 2013 – The North Central College women's tennis team was outdone at the hands of Augustana College, 7-2 Saturday afternoon in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) dual match at the NCC Tennis Courts.
 
The Vikings (10-0, 5-0 CCIW) opened the afternoon claiming all three doubles matches.
 
In singles play, the Cardinals (6-5, 1-4 CCIW) earned a pair of wins as Kayla Garcia defeated Emily Kaczmarek, 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 5 position and Megan Marble downed Mariah Bardo in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 at No. 6.
 
North Central is back in action tomorrow, Sept. 28 hosting Illinois Wesleyan University at 12 pm.
