KENOSHA, Wis. (Oct. 6, 2014) – The North Central College women's tennis team closed out the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) schedule Monday afternoon with a 9-0 loss at Carthage College.
The Cardinals (8-4, 4-3 CCIW) finish in conference slate in fourth place in the standings for the second consecutive season.
Carthage opened the afternoon sweeping all three doubles matches to take the early lead and hold the momentum heading into singles play.
In singles play the Lady Reds (9-0, 6-0) swept all six matches to remain perfect on the season, as
Reynolds Cross fought Eliza Barter to a three set 6-7, 4-6, 4-10 loss at the No. 3 position.
North Central hosts Purdue University Calumet on Friday, Oct. 10 at 2 pm at the NCC Tennis Courts.
