Sept. 16, 2014 – North Central College women's volleyball player Laura Kluk was honored by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) on Tuesday, earning defensive Player of the Week honors.

Kluk was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Aurora University Jim Coleman Classic, Sept. 12-13, leading the Cardinals to a 3-2 record last week with wins over Loras College, Franklin University and Illinois Institute of Technology.  Kluk led the team with 133 assists last week, averaging 8.31 per set, while also averaging 3.31 digs per set.

Kluk was the last Cardinal to earn Player of the Week honors, as the junior setter previously earned the award on Sept. 11, 2012.

North Central returns home on Friday, Sept. 19, hosting a non-conference triangular against Benedictine University at 4 pm, followed by Lake Forest at 8 pm.  The link to live in game statistics is available HERE.
