LAKE FOREST, Ill. (Feb. 21, 2015) – Suffering its first loss of the spring season, the North Central College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 non-conference dual match at the hands of Lake Forest College on Saturday afternoon at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff.
Beginning the afternoon with doubles play, the Foresters (1-2) swept all three positions as
Connor Sass and Ryan Doekel fought Nick Rehm and Dragan Trivanovic tough at the No. 2 position, but ultimately fell 8-5 while
Kevin Davenport and
Adam Winters also fell by an 8-5 decision at No. 3 to the duo of Mike Riley and Derek Schaltz.
Lake Forest went on to sweep all six singles matches in straight sets and complete the 9-0 victory.
North Central (2-2) plays host to Chicago State University on Thursday, Feb. 26 with matches to begin at 6 p.m. inside the Res/Rec Center.
