WHEATON, Ill. (Apr. 18, 2016) – The North Central College men's tennis team ran into a tough Wheaton College squad on Monday afternoon, falling 9-0 in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) dual at the Wheaton Tennis Courts.
 
In doubles play, the duo of Victor Krueger and Connor Sass and the combination of Aleksandar Vasic and Hayden Sass both fell 8-3 at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, while the Thunder (9-7 2-1 CCIW) held a 3-0 lead heading into singles play.
 
Wheaton went on to win each of the six singles matches in straight sets, as Tyler Bussell put up a fight against Josh Cheng at the No. 6 position, but eventually dropped the match 6-3, 6-3.
 
North Central (9-7, 0-3 CCIW) travels to Concordia University Chicago on Wednesday, Apr. 20 with matches slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the CUC Tennis Courts.
