Apr. 9, 2016 – The North Central College men's tennis team ran into a tough non-conference opponent in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, falling 9-0 inside the Res/Rec Center.
 
The Blugolds (15-5) started the morning with a 3-0 sweep in doubles competition, as Aleksandar Vasic and Adam Winters put up a fight at the No. 3 position, but ultimately fell 8-3.
 
UW-Eau Claire went on to take all six singles positions, as Victor Krueger took the first set 6-2 over Will Weyenberger but could not hang on, dropping the final two sets 6-1, 10-4.
 
North Central (7-5) plays host to Aurora University on Wednesday, Apr. 13, with matches slated to begin at 4 p.m. at the NCC Tennis Courts.
