WAUKESHA, Wis. (Nov. 2, 2018) – Hitting the road for a dual meet with Carroll College, the North Central College women's swimming & diving team succumbed by a score of 409-212 to the Pioneers Friday night.

Although North Central fell short in the totals, the Cardinals still turned in some strong individual performances. Junior Marissa Hoppe earned a personal best in the 200-yard individual medley (2:25.47) on the way to a second-place finish. Also earning second place was Maya Bidegaray in the 100-yard freestyle (1:05.71).

The Cardinals found plenty of third place finishes on the day: Samantha Kruzel in the 1000-yard freestyle (12:05.15) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.58), Beth Ryan's personal best effort in the 200-yard freestyle (2:07.08) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:06.48), and Savannah Catalano in the 50-yard freestyle (29.85).

North Central travels to Beloit College on Nov. 10 for a tri-meet with Ripon College.
