2018 All-CCIW Women's Volleyball Teams
Nov. 5, 2018 – Despite missing the second half of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) season due to injury, North Central College women's volleyball outside hitter
Kaitlyn Boelter-Eberhardt shined in her four conference matches and was awarded second team all-conference on Monday.
In her four conference matches, Boelter-Eberhardt was lead in the CCIW averaging 4.08 kills per set, the only player averaging above four in the conference. She finished fifth overall in the conference averaging 3.27 kills per set over her 18 matches played, while the top-four on the list were all upperclassmen. Her 196 total kills led the Cardinals this season, despite missing the final five matches, while her 18 service aces ranked second on the team.
Illinois Wesleyan University outside hitter Tyler Brown was named CCIW Player of the Year, while Kim Nelson-Brown was named Coach of the Year after leading the Titans to the regular season and CCIW Tournament titles this season. Additionally, Elmhurst College libero Val Thomas was named the conference's Newcomer of the Year.
North Central has been represented on the All-CCIW women's volleyball team in 32 of the last 33 years, with only 2016 snapping the streak of 30-consecutive seasons.
