Men's Tennis Undone on Senior Day

Celebrating Senior Day in the home finale, the North Central College men's tennis team found itself on the wrong end of a 7-2 decision on Saturday at the NCC Tennis Courts.
 
North Central (7-14, 2-4 CCIW) fell behind 2-1 after doubles play, as Victor Krueger and Marco Salazar earned the victory at the No. 3 position, teaming up to defeat Mitchel Gjerseth and Quentin Lamers, 8-6.
 
In singles play, Carroll (10-5, 4-1 CCIW) went on to claim five of the six positions, with Lucas Pindak earning the lone Cardinal win at the No. 6 spot, taking down Gjerseth in straight sets 7-5, 6-1.
 
North Central closes out the regular season on Tuesday, Apr. 24, traveling to Wheaton College with matches scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Wheaton Tennis Courts.
