KENOSHA, Wis. (Apr. 6, 2018) – Hitting the road for the final time this season, the North Central College women's tennis team was undone at the hands of Concordia University Wisconsin, 7-2, in a match moved indoors at East Side Tennis Club.
The Falcons (14-3) jumped out to an early 2-1 lead after doubles play, as Diana Barcelata and Tifafny Smolik teamed up to defeat Lizzie Carroll and Hannah Tresedder, 8-6 at the No. 1 position to avoid the sweep.
Concordia Wisconsin went on to claim five of the six singles matches, as Barcelata was the lone Cardinal to earn a victory, taking down Carroll, 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1.
North Central (3-15) host Milwaukee School of Engineering on Tuesday, Apr. 17 at 3 p.m. at the NCC Tennis Courts.
