CCIW Player of the Week Release

March 11, 2019 – For the first time this season, the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) has named North Central College sophomore Jacob Ray as the Defensive Player of the Week for the Week of March 11. The conference announced the selections on Monday.

Ray, a face-off specialist from Murrieta, Calif., scooped up 13 ground balls and went 18-24 at the face-off in the Cardinals' 13-8 win at Alma College on Saturday. He leads the team with 21 ground balls this season. North Central improved to 3-0 on the season with the win. 

North Central travels to Angola, Ind. on Tuesday, Mar. 12 to play Trine University. Game time is set for 6 p.m (ET) and a link to live in-game coverage can be found HERE.
