NAPERVILLE, Ill. (April 29, 2026) – North Central College men's lacrosse has swept the final installment of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin weekly awards as graduate student
Ty Nagy was named the Offensive Player of the Week and senior
Alex Porter picked up the defensive honor, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Just one day after earning the first All-CCIW accolades of their careers, Nagy and Porter also claimed their first weekly honors after standout performances in the final two games of the regular season. Nagy and Porter helped North Central to a pair of conference wins, defeating Carroll University 16-3 before claiming a decisive victory over Augustana College to earn a spot in the conference tournament.

Nagy recorded 14 goals on the week and two assists, including a career-high eight goals against Augustana, an effort that ties for the program's single-game record. He led the team with six goals against Carroll and added four ground balls to his week.

Porter earns the defensive weekly honor after notching a season-high four caused turnovers against Augustana. He added another disruption against Carroll and tallied seven ground balls on the week.

North Central will face top-seed Elmhurst University in a CCIW Tournament Semifinal today at 7:30 p.m. at Langhorst Field.
