CCIW Player of the Week
Mar. 20, 2019 – The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) has honored North Central College women's tennis student-athlete
Diana Barcelata as the CCIW Player of the Week for her performances during the team's week-long trip in Orlando.
Barcelata, a senior from Veracruz, Mexico, helped lead the women's tennis team to four straight wins, highlighted by an undefeated record at No. 1 singles and went 3-1 at No. 2 doubles with partner
Katie McGraw.
This is the Cardinals' second CCIW Player of the Week award this season as
Alaina Kanthaphixay was selected during the fall.
North Central (12-4) concludes the spring trip on Wednesday, Mar. 20 with a match against Hope College at 11:30 a.m. (ET). The team return to the Midwest to play at Lake Forest College on Friday, Mar. 29 at 6 p.m.
