All-CCIW Teams
 
Apr. 30, 2019 – A record-setting four members of the North Central College men's lacrosse team have earned All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) honors, as senior goalkeeper Dylan Cost and junior defenseman Sean Tomonari were selected to the first team and junior midfielder Tommy Huizinga and junior defenseman John Fitzgerald were second-team selections. The CCIW announced the honorees on Tuesday.
 
Cost, a psychology and sociology major from Barrington, Ill., earned his first All-CCIW honor following an impressive 2019 season. He set a new single-game record for saves against Elmhurst College on Apr. 20 with 23 and had 149 saves on the season. His .603 save percentage ranked second in the conference and his 8.96 goals against average was good for third in the CCIW.
 
Tomonari, a management major from Pleasanton, Calif., is a two-time All-CCIW selection after being a second team honoree in 2017. He started and played in all 14 games this season, tallying 38 ground balls and a team-best 37 caused turnovers. Tomonari had seven ground balls and four caused turnovers in the team's win at the University of Dallas on Mar. 19.
 
Huizinga, a management and marketing major from New Lenox, Ill., tallied 35 goals and 18 assists on the season, including a season-best performance against Carroll University on Apr. 9 when he scored five goals and three assists. He was named the CCIW Offensive Player of the Week on Mar. 18 after scoring six goals and two assists in the Cardinals' wins against La Roche College and Trine University. This is his first All-CCIW honor for his career. 
 
Fitzgerald, an exercise science major from Winfield, Ill., started all 14 games for the Cardinals and had 26 caused turnovers and 51 ground balls. He had a season-best seven ground balls in the games against La Roche and Dallas and had six caused turnovers in the team's loss to CCIW champion, Illinois Wesleyan University. He was a Second-Team selection in 2018.
 
North Central concluded its third season with an overall record of 9-5 and a 3-4 record in CCIW play.
