2019 All-CCIW Men's Tennis Teams
May 16, 2019 – Becoming just the third player in program history to earn three All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) awards, North Central College men's tennis player
Victor Krueger was named to the second team, announced by the conference on Thursday.
Krueger becomes the 10
th Cardinal to earn All-CCIW honors and joins Sam Sweeney '11 and Matt Boguslawski '11 as the only players to earn all-conference accolades three times.
Krueger played all but one singles match at the No. 1 position this season, going 7-13 overall in singles play, while teaming up with
Andy Hinch at No. 1 doubles to post a 9-4 record including a perfect 5-0 in conference play.
Playing in 98 career matches, Krueger finishes his four-year career with an overall record of 35-63, playing all but 10 matches at the No. 1 position against each opponent's top player.
An integral part of the Cardinals turnaround this season which saw an 11-win improvement from 2017-18, Krueger helped guide North Central to a third-place finish in the CCIW regular season.
