Aug. 14, 2019 - Fans and supporters of North Central College Athletics will have access to a greater amount of live video coverage of several Cardinal teams starting this fall, and will be able to view it all in a single location with the creation of Cardinals All-Access, which will house all live and on-demand video content. 

Created with the assistance of North Central's athletics website provider, SIDEARM Sports, Cardinals All-Access will also feature recent headlines and social-media posts and will afford users the ability to watch multiple broadcasts of home contests at the same time. On-demand viewing of previously-played events will be available within the portal as well. 

Since 2008, the College has partnered with Naperville Community Television (NCTV) to produce live coverage of several North Central athletic events. The NCTV broadcast calendar currently includes all regular-season and postseason home games for football and men's and women's basketball, as well as College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) home games for men's and women's soccer, men's and women's volleyball and men's and women's lacrosse and CCIW home dual meets for wrestling.  

The North Central sports information department, again partnering with SIDEARM Sports, this year will institute live coverage for non-conference events in soccer, volleyball and lacrosse, as well as all dual meets for men's and women's wrestling. Further additions to the live coverage calendar will be announced as soon as technical considerations have been addressed. 

All home athletic events which feature live video (by NCTV or North Central) will be available on Cardinals All-Access, and will be available to view free of charge. 

"NCTV has always provided superior broadcast services and we continue to enjoy working with them," said North Central sports information director Clark Teuscher. "Supplementing that with an in-house solution is a great way to expand our broadcast calendar, and it will give us some flexibility to explore some other opportunities to do so in the near future." 

Cardinals All-Access is located online at northcentralcardinals.com/watch, or via the Cardinals All-Access tab at the bottom of the screen on the North Central Cardinals app, which is available for download on iOS and Android devices. 

The first broadcast on Cardinals All-Access will be on Sunday, Sept. 1, when the men's soccer team hosts Ohio Northern University at noon.
