2021 All-CCIW Indoor Track & Field Selections
Mar. 19, 2021 - The North Central College women's track and field program has had 22 of its student-athletes recognized with All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) honors for the 2021 indoor season. The CCIW announced this year's recipients, who qualified by ranking among the conference's top eight in individual events or the top four in relay events, on Friday.
The Cardinals'
Kelsey McLaurin owned the top mark in the CCIW in the triple jump (37'8.75") this season and North Central also ranked second among all conference competitors in 10 other events. Three of those marks belonged to sprinter
Katie Bonney, who ranked second conference-wide in the 60- (7.91), 200- (25.80) and 400-meter dashes (58.75).
Also ranking second in the CCIW in their respective events were
Jenna Yakesh in the mile run (5:05.92),
Julia Babinec in the 60-meter hurdles (9.21),
Kathy Myrda in the pole vault (11'11.75"),
Maddie Bobinski in the shot put (42'11.75") and
Alexandra Draves in the 20-pound weight throw (55'3.50").
Bonney and Yakesh teamed with
Elizabeth Hodonicky and
Allison Grady to post the conference's second-fastest time in the 4-by-400-meter relay (4:02.25), as did the distance medley relay quartet of
Alexis Henz,
Fiorella Ghiorsi,
Rachael Vaccaro and
Emmy Mussey.

Anna Cotter, high jump (5th, 5'0.25")
Jenna Fiore, mile run (4th, 5:18.79), 3,000-meter run (5th, 10:36.53), 5,000-meter run (7th, 18:52.81)
Stephanie Garcia, 60-meter dash (7th, 8.03)
Elizabeth Hodonicky, 400-meter dash (6th, 1:00.71)
Kiarah Horn, pole vault (5th, 10'6")
Marcedes Jackson, 60-meter dash (4th, 7.96), long jump (3rd, 17'4.25")
Faith Ladin, long jump (6th, 17'2.75")
Riley Lyons, pole vault (7th, 9'8")
Kelsey McLaurin, 200-meter dash (3rd, 26.18)
Denise Partee, 60-meter hurdles (7th, 9.57)
Jenna Yakesh, 800-meter run (3rd, 2:19.66)
