CCIW Release 

March 28, 2021 - Riley Bachinski led all scorers with 6 goals in a 13-7 win over the weekend for the Cardinals over Marian University. With this performance, the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) has named Bachinski Offensive Player of the Week. 

The Minnesota-native helped the Cardinals pull away in the 4th quarter by scoring 3 times in the quarter in the win. Bachinski is nearly averaging 4 goals a game for the men's lacrosse team as he has a total of 23 goals on the season. This is the third overall offensive player of the week nomination for Bachinski, as he was named the offensive player of the week twice last year in the shortened season. 

This is the first offensive player of the week honor for the Cardinals this season and second player of the week honor overall. 

The Cardinals will travel to Bloomington, Illinois to take on Illinois Wesleyan April 7th at 7:30 p.m. in a highly anticipated conference game. Illinois Wesleyan is currently 5-1, while your Cardinals are a perfect 6-0 so far on the season.
