D3baseball.com Top-25 Poll Week 6

Mar. 30, 2021 – The North Central College baseball team remains ranked in the top-10 nationally, coming in at No. 9 this week according to the sixth installment of the D3baseball.com Top-25 Poll.

The Cardinals (9-3) were 2-1 last week, scoring wins over North Park University, 1-0 and DePauw University, 5-1, before suffering a tightly-contested 4-3 loss to No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis.

Trinity University (Texas) remains atop the poll for the fourth-consecutive week, while WashU remains at No. 2 and Salisbury University (Maryland) moves up a spot to third.  California Lutheran University falls a spot to fourth despite not playing any games yet this season, while Aurora University (Illinois) jumps from 10^th to fifth this week.

North Central has four games on the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) slate this week, squaring off with Illinois Wesleyan University on Tuesday, Mar. 30 at Zimmerman Stadium, before opening a three-game set with Carroll University with a doubleheader at home on Friday, Apr. 2.
