March 9th, 2021 - North Central College senior, Steven Faux has captured this weeks College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Lacrosse Defense/Face-Off Player of the Week award for his efforts during a 13-5 win over MSOE. 

The veteran Faux, who has appeared in over 40 games for the Cardinals, helped lead the defense on Saturday giving up only 5 goals. Faux finished with three ground balls and four caused turnovers on the afternoon while the defense as a whole gave up only 11 shots. 

North Central hosts Benedictine University (2-1) on Wednesday. Play is scheduled to get under way at 7:00 p.m.
