Oct. 18, 2022 – The North Central College Men's Cross Country team has secured its fourth College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Athlete of the Week Award with Drew Guimond earning this week's honor. The CCIW will announce its selection on Tuesday at 2pm.

Guimond was the fourth Cardinal finisher at the Augustana Invitational in Rock Island on Saturday, placing 25th overall out of 276 competitors and completing the course in a time of 24 minutes and 26.2 seconds. North Central finished second out of eighteen teams in the eighth race of the season.

Until then, Guimond and the Cardinals will head to Warrenville, Illinois on Oct. 29th for the CCIW Championship.
