Eberhardt Tabbed as Offensive Player of the Week

Mar. 7, 2022 - North Central College men's lacrosse player Tom Eberhardt was named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Player of the Week this afternoon after helping lead the Cardinals to a 1-1 record last week. 

Eberhardt, a Sophomore from Elburn, Ill, tallied 11 goals and five ground balls this week against Benedictine University and No. 19 Ohio Wesleyan University. Eberhardt tied Jared Weaver's '20 single game goal record with eight goals against Benedictine while picking up three ground balls. On Mar. 5, Eberhardt tallied three goals and two ground balls in the Cardinals 11-10 loss against Ohio Wesleyan. 

The Cardinals are back in action on Wednesday, Mar. 9 as they host the Albion College Britons in a non-conference matchup. The opening face-off is set for 5 pm inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
