CCIW Names Ladin CCIW Field Athlete of the Week

Apr. 13, 2022 - North Central College women's track and field student-athlete Faith Ladin has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Track Student-Athlete of The Week, grabbing her first CCIW award in the 2022 outdoor season. 

Ladin placed first in the javelin throw with a mark of 133 feet, one inch (40.56 meters) at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's Rex Foster Twilight Meet on Sunday. 

The sophomore is ranked eighth among NCAA Division III competitors in the event this season. Ladin is currently ranked second in school history with a mark of 137 feet and 2 inches (41.80 meters). She follows Brianna Tolliver '12 school record of 140'8" (42.87 meters).

The Cardinal's will host the First Chance Invitational at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium on Friday, Apr. 15.
