CCIW Release 

Apr. 26, 2022 - North Central College men's track and field student-athlete James McGlashon has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Track Student-Athlete of the Week, earning the distinction for the first time in his career. 

McGlashon placed first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a new personal best of 9:13.76 at the Wheaton College Invitational this past weekend. He is currently ranked first in the CCIW and 13th on the NCAA Division III national list. 

Max Svienty is the only other Cardinal on the men's track and field team to have won CCIW Athlete of the Week award for the 2022 outdoor season.

The Cardinals' next event is Apr. 29 at McCully Stadium in Wheaton, Ill. for the Elmhurst University Invitational.
