Oct. 25, 2023 - As the regular season winds down, the NCAA announced their region rankings this afternoon where the North Central College men's soccer team was ranked No. 2 in Region VIII.
Calvin University leads Region VIII in the No. 1 spot. Calvin is currently 11-2-1 on the season with their two losses coming from Mount Union University (1-0) and Carthage College (2-4).
Calvin is followed by North Central. North Central is currently 14-1-2 in the season with their only loss coming from Carleton College (1-0) in September.
University of Chicago (7-2-5) comes in at No. 3, followed by Milwaukee School of Engineering (No. 4), Wheaton College (No. 5), and Hope University (No. 6). In the seventh, and final, spot for Region VII, is Aurora University (12-2-3).
The North Central Cardinals take on the Augustana College Vikings tonight, Oct. 25th, as they look for a chance to win a share of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Regular Season Championship. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Rock Island, Ill.
