CHICAGO (Dec. 8, 2023) – The North Central College men's and women's track and field teams competed in the annual Blue Demon Holiday Classic at Gately Indoor Track and Field Friday afternoon.

On the men's end, Jayden Leise took the highest place of the day with a second-place slot in the triple jump with 14.11 meters (46' 3.5") falling just behind Divine Aniamaka's 14.73 meters (48' 4"). Also representing the men, Marcus Caselberry took sixth place in the 60-meter hurdles (8.48) tying for eighth place in the program's top ten with Keyon Wolber. Caselberry also took home a ninth-place time in the 60-meter dash (7.06).

For the women's team, Denise Partee represented the Cardinals in 8th place in the women's 60-meter hurdles (9.01) and 13th in the 60-meter dash (8.00).

The Cardinals host their annual Cardinal Opener in the new year on Friday, January 12 at 4 p.m. in the Residence Hall Recreation Center.
