USILA NCAA Division III Scholar All-Americans

June 28, 2023 - Jake Allgood, Trenton Herubin, Jack Moran, and Nick Rubino have been named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-Americans for their hard work in the classroom during the 2022-23 school year.

A total of 127 student-athletes earned Scholar All-American honors across all NCAA Division III institutions. 

Allgood, a business economics major, earned second-team All-Region honors earlier this month. He made 116 saves and allowed 10.28 goals per game while setting a new program record for career saves with 394. Herubin, a mechanical engineering major,
captured his second straight USILA All-American selection for his success on the field. He caused a team-high 25 turnovers on defense for the Cardinals this season.

Moran, an economics major, broke the single-season program record for assists on March 28th and finished his career with 82 assists. He is also the all-time points leader with 169 points. Rubino, a mechanical engineering major, led the Cardinals with 59 points this season. He ranked second in both goals (35) and assists (24).

All four players earned All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honors on the field and in the classroom with Academic all-conference accolades. The Cardinals finished 2023 with a 10-6 overall record and a 5-1 CCIW mark.
