United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

Aug. 18, 2023 - For the fifth consecutive season, the North Central College women's soccer team has earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for their success in the classroom.

 A total of 819 soccer teams (317 men, 502 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. North Central is one of 186 schools that had both their men's and women's programs recognized. 

The Cardinals posted the highest team cumulative GPA in program history with a 3.72, edging out the 2020-21 team's 3.71. 

On the field, North Central advanced to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament Championship for the second straight season. They open this season as the CCIW favorites.

The Cardinals begin the 2023 campaign in Northfield, Minn. as they take on St. Olaf College on Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. You can view their entire schedule HERE.
