Sept. 19, 2023 – Elle Sutter earned the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the week award for offense in the third week of the 2023 season.

Sutter, a senior forward from Peoria, Illinois, earned the teams first award of the season coming off a three-game week, receiving eight points, notching ten shots, and putting away four goals. This comes off scoring two goals against Kalamazoo College in a 7-1 rout and helping her team inch past Transylvania University, with a final seven minute goal in a 2-1 game.

Sutter leads the Cardinals this season in shots (31), shots on goal (18), and holds second in assists (3).

The Cardinals continue their homestand on Wednesday, Sept. 20 as they battle the Adrian College Bulldogs in Benedetti Wehrli Stadium at 7 p.m.
