Sept. 26, 2023 – Sarah Andrey of the North Central College women's soccer team earned the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the week award for offense in the fourth week of the 2023 season.

Andrey, a senior from St. Charles, Illinois, was honored with the team's second offensive award of the season after two home shutout wins, receiving ten points, firing five shots, assisting twice, and obtaining four goals.

These came off scoring one goal against Adrian College and three goals in the team's first CCIW conference matchup with Elmhurst University, blanking them 7-0.  Andrey also assisted the team to an additional goal in each matchup.

Andrey currently shares the team's top slot in goals (12) with last week's offensive player of the week, Elle Sutter.

The Cardinals are back on the road to face Ohio Wesleyan University. The game is set to kick-off on Saturday, Sept. 30^th at 1 p.m. in the Jay Martin Soccer Complex.
