Oct. 29, 2024 – The North Central College women's soccer team crept up one slot in the United Soccer Coaches' (USC) Region VIII rankings from fifth to fourth. Elle Sutter helped this move tallying her eleventh career College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week Award for offense.

Sutter, a graduate student forward from Peoria earned her eleventh career weekly award for her efforts in both shutout wins against Illinois Wesleyan University (6-0) and North Park University (4-0). During these, she scored a combined four goals while earning one assist and nine points. She is currently ranked nationally third in game-winning goals (7), fourth in points per game (3.28), third in total goals (23), and third in total points (59).

In this week's USC Region VIII rankings, the Cardinals shifted up to fourth with the University of Chicago staying ahead in third (10-5-1) while Hope College (10-3-2) has fallen from third to fifth behind North Central. Nationally the team ranks first in assists per game (3.56), first in total assists (64), third in total goals (70), third in total points (204), fifth in points per game (11.33), and fifth in overall scoring offense.
